Club Service
Within Petersfield Rotary Club Service is mainly organised by the Fellowship & Membership Committee chaired by the President Elect (sometimes known as the Senior Vice President) who in 2011-12 is Rotarian Laurie Redstone.
Socially we hold sports evenings with our partners, usually either Boules or Skittles as well as internal quiz nights run by
members, international evenings (visits to " restaurants ") organised by the International Committee, an annual
President's Night which celebrates the President's year as well as the birthday of the Club and a Winter Party held shortly after Christmas.
Fellowship with other Clubs we hold scatter nights when we visit other rotary Clubs and they often return the visit, in addition there are a number of Sports Challenges organised by the district and we participate in Boules, darts, Skittles and Golf. A couple of Clubs run Quiz nights and we join them as well.
Speakers Evenings every month we have at least one guest speaker to come and keep us entertained and informed about local places, events and some of the local charities
Last, but not least, we carry out fundraising for either our chosen charities or for our Community Service projects.
We hold bookstalls frequently
on the Lloyds Bank forecourt.
Christmas collections take place over several days in
Petersfield
and, recently, in Bordon
One member even took part in a Christmas collection in Peekskill N.Y. when he visited a club there.

We also hold Race nights, a charity Auction and a fashion show. This year, in collaboration with the Round Table we held a 12 hour Walk for dreams to raise funds for the charity Dreams Come True.
